#013: Surviving AI as a Coach
Words I believe:
AI is powerful—but it will never replace connection, real support, or your story.
Surviving AI as a Coach
AI is everywhere right now.
Newsletters. Articles. Videos. Entire businesses being restructured around it.
But the real question is:
How is AI impacting the coaching industry?
I hate to break it to you…
But I’ve seen it happening in real-time—in both good and not-so-good ways.
Here’s what I mean:
Job seekers are using ChatGPT to create resumes instead of hiring resume writers.
Women trying to lose weight are using AI-generated meal plans instead of working with a coach or dietitian.
Entrepreneurs are using AI to write sales pages and websites instead of hiring copywriters.
Consultants and business owners are using AI for strategy instead of hiring business coaches.
It’s getting real.
But there’s still time to get ahead—if you shift intentionally.
Here are 3 ways to future-proof your coaching business:
1. Offer 1:1 Human Connection (Selectively)
You don’t have to make 1:1 your whole model—but you do need a way to bring people closer to you.
Ideas:
- Offer 1:1 at a premium as a VIP upgrade
- Run a hybrid model with group + limited 1:1 (what I do now)
- Offer discounted 1:1 sessions just for current clients
- Partner with another coach to offer personalized sessions inside your program
2. Embrace AI to Get Faster Results
Use AI to accelerate your clients’ progress—not replace your value.
Try this:
- Add AI prompts inside lessons
- Give tools that make it easier to implement faster
- Market your program as “AI-enhanced” — because results come quicker
3. Lean Into Your Personal Brand
AI can’t replicate your voice, your story, or your values.
The more human you are, the more trust you build.
Talk about your beliefs.
Share what you’ve seen.
Show the real you.
People crave connection—and your content should reflect that.
As promised, growth in under a minute.
If you want to stand out in an AI-dominated world—
Reply and let me know which one of these you’ll incorporate into your business. I respond to every message personally.
AI can speed things up. But it can’t replace you.
