#020: From Chasing More to Choosing Enough
Words I believe: Chasing more will never bring you joy. Alignment will.
From Chasing More to Choosing Enough
Yesterday, I shared something I’ve been hinting at all year.
My business looks great on the outside, but something just doesn’t feel right on the inside.
And the worst part?
I couldn’t figure out what it was.
I’ve been sitting with it for months.
And it finally came to a head.
The truth is…
I realized I was building something that no longer aligned with who I am.
I got caught up in the chase, wanting more, hitting big goals, but I could feel myself slowly losing what made me special as a coach.
Through prayer and deep conversations with God, He revealed the root:
→ I was chasing more when I already had enough.
→ I let greed lead instead of submitting it to purpose.
→ I was building based on what others were doing, not what I was called to do.
When I first started coaching, 4 things mattered most to me:
-
Freedom to do what I want
-
Endless creativity
-
Deeply impacting lives
-
No cap on my earning potential
But even back then, I wasn’t chasing money.
I’ve always chased freedom.
Now?
My focus is joy.
Deep impact.
Freedom over growth.
So here’s what I’m changing in this new season:
1) Saying goodbye to my current business model
I designed my business to scale.
But, I no longer want to run a big coaching business, so it no longer fits.
I’m letting go of group coaching. Just typing that brings me peace.
This decision has nothing to do with my current clients, they’re amazing.
But I’ve realized something about myself:
I hate surface-level help.
And that’s what group programs often lead to.
I want to go deep.
To know my clients’ businesses inside and out.
To be able to say, “Here’s exactly what you need right now.”
That’s when I’m at my best.
That’s when my impact is greatest.
So it’s back to 1:1 coaching only for me.
Yes, I’ll still host co-working sessions.
I’ll still share trainings.
But it will be based on what’s real, what’s working.
No fluff. Just depth.
2) No more chasing
I’m no longer chasing the $1M coaching business goal.
I thought I wanted that.
But truthfully, it puts money before people.
And that’s never been me.
My clients work with me year after year because I actually care.
I see them. I guide them. I walk with them.
That’s who I want to be known as:
A partner. An advisor. A mentor. Not just a coach.
And as a believer, I’ve learned you can’t follow advice from people who aren’t being led the same way you are.
Not every strategy is meant for you.
Not every voice is worth following.
God may have you on a completely different path and that’s okay.
3) Prioritizing connection again
People have been DMing me asking, “How do I stand out in a world full of AI?”
And the answer surprised even me:
We go back.
Back to connection.
Back to real, in-person moments.
Back to the pre-COVID energy where presence mattered more than reach.
That’s why I’ll be hosting more events.
I want to hug people. See their smiles. Capture memories. Be present.
That’s what builds real trust.
4) I’m no longer doing this alone
I’m teaming up with Bianca King in a new joint venture.
We’ll be co-hosting in-person live events, virtual sessions, and masterminds together.
We’re both believers. Both married. Both ambitious.
And both leading our lives with a freedom-first mindset.
Finding someone who fully aligns with how you live, lead, and believe?
That’s rare, and that’s what makes this partnership so special.
Final thoughts:
Stop comparing.
Stop chasing what looks good for someone else.
Stop trying to keep up with the noise.
The online world can either bring out a better version of you or pull you into chasing dreams that were never yours.
Reconnect to why you started.
→ What made you excited in the beginning?
→ What do you want your days to actually feel like?
→ What if joy was the goal, not just growth?
That’s what I’m choosing now.
I’m done chasing. I’m building what excites me again.
And I want that for you, too.
If you’re ready to build a business that actually feels like you, not just one that looks good online,
Let’s talk.

P.S. If any part of this resonated, reply to this email and let me know. I respond to every message.
P.P.S. Mid last year, I challenged myself to read the entire Bible in 12 months. Last week, I finished. I won’t pretend it was easy, but I will say this: Reading every word changed me. I feel more grounded. More mission-driven. More aligned with who I’m called to be, not just as a coach, but as a woman of faith. And that’s a big part of why I’m making these changes now. This isn’t just a business shift. It’s a soul shift.
