#018: LinkedIn Growth Strategy (2025)
Words I believe: When something stops working the way it used to, don't whine. Rethink.
LinkedIn Growth Strategy (2025)
A few weeks ago, I logged off LinkedIn.
Not because I was over it.
But because I was over the noise.
I was tired of hearing it.
“The algorithm is broken.”
“Reach is down.”
“LinkedIn is dead.”
Look, I get it.
Things have shifted since 2022. Back then, my posts went semi-viral on repeat.
Followers came easy. Visibility was wild.
But at some point, I stopped caring about likes.
I started caring about clients.
So when all the noise got loud again this year, I didn’t complain.
I just logged off.
I took two weeks away from LinkedIn.
Not to escape, but to refocus.
And now? I’m back with a smarter game plan.
Here’s how I’m moving forward with LinkedIn:
1. Updating my LinkedIn profile (finally)
Let’s be real…I haven’t touched my profile in 2 years.
It’s been effective. It still works.
But my brand has evolved. So it’s time to let my profile reflect that.
Before:
“I help coaches simplify their systems and strategies so it’s easy to achieve consistent $10K+ months.”
After (in draft):
“Built a multi-7-figure portfolio of 9+ income streams by leveraging our 9–5 salaries & business revenue| Showing you how to do the same with simplicity and freedom | Business coach & wealth strategist”
This profile reflects where I’m headed…
And the clients I’m excited to help grow with me.
2. Going deeper with content
I used to talk about 4–5 different topics a week:
Sales one day, branding the next, then niching, then strategy…
It all connected, but it lacked focus.
Now?
Each week, I go deep on ONE core topic.
This week, it’s LinkedIn.
I’m using my 3 S’s of Conversion Content to bring clarity and depth.
(If you missed that newsletter series, go back and binge them.)
People connect when they recognize their problem.
Then see you as the solution.
That takes repetition.
3. Prioritizing real connection through live events + video
Let’s talk about what’s really happening:
AI is taking over.
And people are craving human connection more than ever.
I watched AI-generated videos on YouTube that looked identical to real humans.
It shook me.
So I’m committed to showing my face more.
In a way that’s aligned with my energy as an introvert.
Expect:
-- In-person workshops
-- Virtual events
-- Videos that come from inspiration, not obligation
Because trust is built through presence.
And presence is built through showing up as yourself.
4. Leading into actual conversations
The point of all this?
→ Get people talking to you.
→ Make it safe for them to ask questions.
→ Invite them to explore solutions with you.
Every post.
Every video.
Every event.
It all leads to DM conversations, sales calls, or direct offer links.
Because most people want a conversation before they commit.
And conversations convert.
But here’s what I’m not doing:
Waiting.
I continue to be proactive with my outreach.
Intentionally connecting with 100 new people every single week.
You can’t rely solely on inbound.
And you definitely can’t depend on the algorithm.
If you’re building a business, you have to stay visible.
On your terms.
As promised, strategy built for right now—not 2022 in under 5 minutes.

PS: LinkedIn’s changed. But you don’t have to quit. You just need a smarter system.
