#008: Stories that Sell
Words I believe: You don’t have to share everything to be relatable. You just need to share the right stories.
Stories that Sell
There are 3 types of content that actually grow your audience and attract ideal clients.
Today, we’re focusing on just one:
Stories.
And I get it—storytelling can feel vulnerable.
Especially if you're a private person (I was too).
But here’s the truth:
You don’t have to share everything. You get to choose.
You get to say, “This part is mine,” and still create deep connection.
Here’s how to tell the right stories:
Start by thinking about the pains or dreams your ideal clients are experiencing.
If you’re a parenting coach—share the good, the bad, the messy.
If you’re a career coach—talk about your journey, missed promotions, toxic bosses, or the wins that shaped you.
If you’re a relationship coach—you don’t have to be perfect. Share the real. What you’ve learned. What you’re still learning.
And your stories?
They don’t always have to be your stories.
You can talk about something your friend went through. A clip you saw on TikTok.
Or better yet—tell the story of a client win (that’s a double bonus: story + social proof).
Pro tip:
You’re not sharing to impress.
You’re sharing to connect.
When people see themselves in your story, they trust you more. And when they trust you, they hire you faster.
As promised, growth in under a minute.

PPS: I created a ChatGPT tool for my clients that turns their voice into LinkedIn posts on demand.
It’s called the Post Auditor—and it’s boosted content performance across the board.
